1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ace Trainer Rips platform (“Service”), operated by Ace Trainer Rips LLC(“we,” “us,” or “Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and purchase packs. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account Registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it promptly if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. How the Service Works
4.1 Mystery Slab Packs
We sell digital mystery packs (“Packs”) containing professionally graded collectible trading cards (“Slabs”). Each Pack has a published set of possible cards and their relative odds. The cards in a Pack are selected server-side from our inventory according to those odds, and are fixed before you open the Pack.
4.2 How Pack Outcomes Are Determined
Pack contents are selected on our servers from our inventory of graded cards, following the published odds for that Pack. Selection happens at the moment you purchase the Pack: your cards are drawn from live inventory at that point and are fixed from then on, so opening a Pack reveals contents that were already determined.
If a Pack cannot be filled from available inventory, the purchase does not complete and you are not charged. We do not substitute a lower-value card in order to complete a Pack.
Packs are issued under a commit-and-reveal procedure: before your cards are selected we generate a random server seed and record its cryptographic hash, and after the Pack is opened we publish the seed itself along with the rolls and candidate sets used. This allows you — or any third party, without an account — to independently re-derive the outcome and confirm it was not altered after the fact. Verification data for a Pack is available at /api/packs/verify/{packId}. That response is authoritative as to whether a given Pack can be verified in this way, including for any Pack issued under a method we used previously.
4.3 Wallet & Payments
You fund an on-platform wallet via Stripe. Wallet balances are used to purchase Packs. Deposits are processed in U.S. dollars. Wallet balances are not interest-bearing, are not insured by the FDIC or any government agency, and are not redeemable for cash except as described in Section 5.
4.4 Sell-Back
Cards in your inventory may be sold back to the platform at a percentage of the current aggregated market price. The sell-back rate is displayed at the time of sale and credits your wallet balance. Sell-back rates may change at any time without notice.
4.5 Shipping
You may request physical delivery of cards in your inventory. Shipping fees, timelines, and availability are presented at the time of request. Shipping fees, and any sales tax due on a shipment under Section 6.1, are paid by card at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. We may require you to verify your identity, and may require the recipient named on the shipping address to match your verified identity, before we ship; see our Privacy Policy for how identity verification data is handled.
5. Refunds & Store Credit
Packs are opened automatically. You may open a Pack yourself as soon as you buy it; otherwise it is opened when it reaches the front of the rip queue. A Pack is therefore never held unopened. Because a Pack’s contents are determined before it is opened, and opening simply reveals those predetermined cards, Pack purchases are final once opened and are not refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Your wallet balance is store credit. It may be used to buy Packs on the platform; it cannot be used to pay shipping fees, which are paid by card at checkout (Section 4.5). It cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another user, or redeemed for cash. Amounts you receive when you sell a card back to us are paid as store credit on these same terms. We reserve the right to deduct any applicable fees or chargebacks from your balance.
6. Taxes
6.1 Sales Tax on Shipments
We do not charge sales tax when you add funds to your wallet or when you buy a Pack. Sales tax, where it applies, is charged when you request physical shipment of a card under Section 4.5. It is calculated on the original amount you paid for that card — not on its current market value — together with the shipping fee where that jurisdiction taxes shipping, and it is sourced to the address the card is shipped to. The tax is calculated and shown to you at checkout before you pay.
6.2 Cards We Buy Back From You
When we buy a card back from you under Section 4.4, we are buying it as inventory we intend to resell, not as an end consumer. No sales tax is charged, collected, or withheld on a sell-back, and the sell-back amount displayed to you before you confirm is the full amount credited to your wallet — nothing is deducted from it for tax. Ace Trainer Rips buys for resale and will furnish its resale or exemption certificate to any taxing authority that requires it to support this treatment.
6.3 Your Own Taxes
We do not provide tax advice. Any income, gain, or loss you realize from selling a card back to us, or from any other disposition of cards you obtain through the Service, is yours to report to the appropriate authorities. Where a payment we make to you requires tax information reporting, we or our payment processor may require a taxpayer identification number from you before that payment is made.
7. Pricing & Market Data
Card prices displayed on the platform are aggregated from multiple third-party sources and are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of pricing data. Actual resale value may differ from displayed prices.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or circumvent limits
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or exploit the Pack generation system or any other platform mechanism. For the avoidance of doubt, using the verification data we publish under Section 4.2 to independently check a Pack outcome is expressly permitted and is not a breach of this term.
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Service
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users in live chat or any platform communication channel
- Initiate fraudulent chargebacks or disputes with your payment provider

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. Trading card images and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
10. Disclaimers

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ace Trainer Rips and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ace Trainer Rips from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
14. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
