FAQ

Short answers to the questions we get asked most often about packs, chances, wallets and shipping.

Packs and chances

Are the cards real?

Yes. Every card is a physical slab graded by PSA, CGC or BGS, verified against the grading company's records and stored in a secure, insured third-party vault. See the vault.

Is it rigged?

You do not have to take our word for it. Two random seeds decide each pack — we lock ours in first and show you only its fingerprint, then your browser draws yours. After the pack is opened we publish our seed, so anyone, with or without an account, can re-derive the result and confirm neither side chose it. If you would rather not rely on our browser code, you can type your own seed before you buy. Here is how to check it.

Will my pack be worth less than I paid?

Often, yes. Most packs contain cards whose market value is below the pack price; that is what funds the rare packs worth far more. Every tier has a guaranteed floor you cannot land below, but landing on that floor is the most likely single outcome in every tier. Please buy with that in mind.

Do my chances improve if I keep buying?

No. Every pack is rolled independently. There is no pity timer, no streak tracking, and a run of floors does not make the next pack more likely to hit.

Does buying a more expensive pack guarantee a better card?

It guarantees a higher floor in most tiers and gives better chances on the chase slot, but a $500 pack can still land on its floor. Compare the floors, not the headline chances — see how we set the chances.

Money

Can I withdraw my wallet balance?

No. Your balance is store credit: usable for packs, and not withdrawable, transferable between users, or redeemable for cash. This applies to deposits and to sell-back proceeds alike. See fund your wallet.

Can I get a refund?

No. Packs are opened automatically — you can open yours early, and otherwise it opens on its own when it reaches the front of the queue — so there is no unopened pack to refund. Pack purchases are final once opened, subject to applicable law: the contents were determined before the pack was opened, so opening it only revealed what was already decided.

Why is the sell-back offer different from what the card was worth when I pulled it?

Offers track the card's current market value, which moves. The exact amount is always shown before you confirm.

Cards and shipping

Do I have to ship my cards?

No. Leaving them in the vault is the default and costs nothing. There is no deadline and no storage fee. See keep it in the vault.

How much does shipping cost?

A flat shipping fee per parcel, however many cards are in it, plus sales tax where it applies. Both are shown before you pay, and you pay them by card at checkout — wallet balance cannot be used for shipping. Batching several cards into one shipment is cheaper than sending them one at a time.

Can I sell a card back after it has shipped?

No. Once the slab has left the vault we no longer hold it. Sell back first if you are undecided.

Is my collection public?

Not unless you make it so. Collectors Walls are private by default; making yours public creates a link anyone can open.

Watching

Do I need to be watching for my pack to be opened?

No. Packs are opened in queue order whether you are there or not, and the cards land in your collection either way.

What happens if a stream ends before my pack is opened?

It stays in your account and is opened on the next stream.
